In 2007 Jens, Ulli, Matze, and Flo got together. They had all a preference not only for the ‘60s mod classics, but also for the mod revival sound of the late ‘70s. THE PIKES started gigging in Berlin, Hamburg and Potsdam. In 2009 THE PIKES recorded a couple of song, the tapes made their way to DIRTY FACES and TIME FOR ACTION RECORDS and were pressed in vinyl in cooperation with these two labels.
